Do you believe that this is my first time in a club?
I actually wanted to pay a visit to the club in Melbourne but I missed the chance.

My younger sister even visited the place earlier than me. She told me that she felt like she has grown up in a single night. She sees more than me now. This made me feel that I was living in my cave. xD

Play Club KL is a very small place. It is super crowded with people, mainly youngsters in their 20s. Tbh, I actually saw some pretty girls and good looking guy around the club, despite that it's pretty dim inside. xD My friend told me that Play Club is like an ocean full of fishes. But in Zouk Club, it is like an ocean full of sharks. LOL.

Now, let me tell you what's like in Play Club KL.

1. Smoky Environment

The moment I stepped into the club, I was surrounded by the smokes from cigarettes and vape. It is common for them to smoke in the club and there is ashtray on every table. I was told that most of the people there smoke, not because they're smoker, but because of the environment. It is like you are the odd one if you don't smoke over there. Of course, I didn't smoke/ try it. I hate cigarettes (just saying). *Be careful of the cigarette bud, it is everywhere*

2. Drama

As a person who loves watching drama, you get to see some real live drama there. So, there was this guy, probably just broke up with his GF, standing next to our table. He was damn drunk that he couldn't even stand straight by himself and can fall in our direction any second. His friend was trying to pull him back to their table but all he did is pouring more alcohol into his mouth. Luckily he didn't vomit in front of us though.

My hair also kena pulled by someone. She was damn high on the dance floor. While I thought she is just a normal girl, who just danced like a crazy woman, I was totally wrong. I was clueless that she is going to grab my hair, out of so many things when she was going to fall down. The sudden pain stroke into me like a lightning bolt. I am speechless. :O

3. Skinship

Besides sad dramas, kissing scene between the same gender can be seen as well. Skinship between male and female is just so normal and needless to say over there. Sexy dance /movement are everywhere as well.

Something happened when I was dancing on the dance floor with my friends. There is this guy, who is my friend's friend, I call him X. At first, X did not do anything, besides holding our hand/shoulder, cause we were supposed to stay together on the dance floor. Suddenly, I feel that someone is touching my boobs! I immediately pulled the hand down and realized that it's X's hand! WTF! Even though I was already prepared to face this kind of stuff in a club, I still can't believe that I was harassed.

4. Noise

You will get tinnitus the moment the music hits your eardrum. The music blast in your ears is unbearable but you will definitely use to it after some time. You will as well feel the buzzing in your ears when you go to toilet/ quiet area, especially after you have used to the loud music.

I don't really like the DJs over there because they keep repeating the same music over and over. The flow is not very smooth as well and I can't really get high there. Not the best remix though.

5. Small space

The place is packed with people, as the space is really limited. Everyone was dancing crazily on the dance floor. My toes kena stepped for countless times until they are numb. If I ever come back here again, I will definitely wear heels/ something that covers my toes.

Last but not least, there are some door policies that have to be followed in Play Club. Male must be 21years or older, while female must be 18years or older to enter. All must bring ID to identify themselves. Entrance is depended on the drinks that you have ordered. We got 2 vodkas for 8 people. Each of us paid Rm92. Oh yea, ladies' night is on everyday Thursday for Play Club.

The club experience might not be what I have expected, but I am glad that at least I entered club in my 21.

*PS. everyone thinks different way and that's what I think about Play. No offense :)*

That's all for this post.
Thanks for reading.

Love,
CLYL

Hi bunnies, it's food review again! :D
It has been awhile since I last blogged about food. 💗

During my Malacca trip, I went to The Peninsular Tailor Cafeteria with my siblings.
It took us some time to find the cafe because it was hidden in the ally, which can be easily missed.
No one will ever think that there will be such unique and retro cafe in the alley, between Terminal Pahlawan and the Melaka Raya.

If it's not this signboard outside the cafe, we will just think that it is a tailor shop.
The concept of this cafe is rather cool, with the retro, old Shanghai kind of style.

The atmosphere is pretty relaxing and the lightning is kinda romantic, with dim and yellow lights that are very comfortable. They have gotten some old school stuff to decorate the cafe and it shows how much effort they have put in it.

For those who like to take pictures?
Yes, you are welcome to visit the place.

When I was there, the cafe was not that pack yet so I can take my own sweet time to take pictures while waiting for my food to come. I really love the entire place and the environment 💗 The ambience is a very nice and indeed a good place to chill. They even play old Chinese music in the cafe!

Here is the menu.
We ordered our food at the counter and had some desserts and coffee because we came here after our dinner.

Japan Marukyu Koyamaen Matcha Waffle (RM14.90)

The first dessert that we have ordered is this Matcha waffle. Visually, it looks really good and tastes as good as it looks. I am pretty picky when it comes to Matcha because I love matcha which is not too sweet with thick green tea flavour. This is just right for me :)

Hot Sizzling Chocolate Brownie (RM16.90)

Chocolate is my life! I love chocolate so much that I can have it every day. But I only like dark chocolate or any dessert which is chocolate. Can you see the sizzling chocolate on the pan? It is legit sizzling when the waitress served it to our table! It is sweet but I can't stop eating it. 😆

I have a weak spot for dessert.

Salted Egg Yolk Waffle (RM13.90)

I am not a salted egg yolk kind of person but this waffle can't make me stop eating!
Having a piece of butter and a scope of ice cream with the sauce on top of the waffle is a heaven kind of dessert for me. My elder sister loves salted egg yolk very much, I was a bit reluctant when she said that she wanted to try this. Surprisingly, they matched so well together!

A picture with my favourite dessert 💗

JWC Party Platter (RM18.90)

We also ordered this because younger sister wanted something savoury. They have french fries, taco and some popcorn chicken, with 3 different sauces. I can't really decide which sauce is the best because I love all of them. But I feel a bit strange at the way they serve this dish, as it is completely different from the picture.

Moroccan Rosebuds Latte (RM10.90)

Love this rose latte so much. It is very flavorful and I really love the rose scent.
Coffee is really smooth and I wish that I can have another cup of this though.💗

Caramel Macchiato (RM10.90)

Marukyu Koyamaen Matcha (RM13.90)

Overall, I am super satisfied with the service and food.
Will definitely come back for their mains and dessert next time. 😄

If you guys have followed me long enough, you guys might already know how much I love Althea.
I can always get cheap and latest Korean beauty products directly from Korea and all thanks to Althea.

This is probably my fourth or fifth althea boxes for the year. Some I bought it myself, some I received from The Butterfly Project. When you love beauty products so much that you can't resist getting it, sometimes I hate myself so much and I wonder why I can't control and stop buying stuff 😂

Do you guys have the same problem as me? If yes, how did you guys do it?

Althea always releases 2-3 this kind of beauty boxes every month based on specific themes and all the boxes are super cheap, in an extremely great deal. You can save up to 82%, getting 5-12 full size of beauty products in it. Now, you tell me, how can I say no to such great discounts?

Btw, I have blogged about the Althea Food Skin Love Box a few months ago. Feel free to read it because most of them are my current favorite products 😊

I believe that a lot of people are Korea beauty junky, and thus most of us love the Korean dewy skin. As the title of this post, I am going to share about the Althea Lovely Dewy Box, where the secret to achieving Korean dewy skin, without it looking oily and shimmery.

In this box, it consists of 5 full sized of products which are:
 1. Laneige White Dew Skin Refiner
2. Son & Park Concealer Cube (Natural)
            3. Tony Moly Crystal Lovely Eyes (Gold Beam)
4. Pure Smile Essence Mask (Pearl)
  5. It's My Lip Crayon (NC01 Nudie Coral)
       6.  Nakeup Face AHA Scaling Cream Sample

If you are lazy to read, you can click on the video and see what I think about them.😊

This is the Laneige White Dew Skin Refiner, which can brighten and even your skin tone. It is very light weighted, yet moisturize enough for my skin. It has a fast absorption, which leaves my skin soft and dewy. It is used as a toner and I am super satisfied with this product. BTW, I really love the smell 😍

Rating: 5/5 💗

The second item is this the Son&Park Concealer Cube in Natural color. This is one of the best liquid concealers that I have tried because the color suits me so well and I really love the coverage, which is medium coverage. It is long lasting, yet moisturizing so I can build a few layers on my dark circle (I have really serious dark circles) and not feel cakey at all. Unlike some of the concealer, which can be a little greyish, it the perfect shade for Asian skin, with a natural gloss.

Rating: 5/5 💗

I also got the Tony Moly Crystal Lovely Eyes in the shade of Gold Beam. It is a very natural shade, which might suitable for those who like to achieve the natural look. There are 2 applicators, which are pencil and sponge at each of the ends.  The glitter is very nice and super creamy. Thus, it is very easy to apply and it is blendable.

Rating: 4/5

I tried this few days after I filmed the video and I feel that this Pure Smile Essence Mask (Pearl) is pretty decent but not very impressive. It is moisturizing, and it is infused with collagen extract that provides nutrition and gives rich glows to the skin. For the price, I will say that it is quite nice.

Rating: 4/5

It's My Lip Crayon (NC01 Nudie Coral) is a temperature dependent color lip balm. It keeps my lips hydrated all day and I really love its smell. It is a bit sticky but it is not a huge problem for me. It is a very natural kind of color. So, if you like a more dramatic kind of color, this might not suit you. Also, I feel that the staining power is not very good. It is said that it is a tinted lip balm, but the color was gone after I had my meal. So yea, pretty disappointed by this.

Rating: 2.5/5 😕

Overall, I am again impressed by Althea's beauty box.
It is so worth the money and I love most of the products that I got in the box!
Have you guys tried any beauty box from Althea? Comment down below and let me know what you guys think.

So, that is all for the post!
Hope you guys find it helpful and I will see you guys in my next post! 😊

If you guys have read my recent post/ follow my social media, you might already know that I have attended my friend's 21st birthday. I have asked my friend what she wanted for her present and what she told me is that she love gift that is sincere.

Alright, this is damn hard! How am I going to define "sincerity"?

I have squeezed the brain juice out of me and the thought of DIY-ing the present myself came out.
While I was thinking what to do for her and scrolling Facebook at the same time, this website, called Printcious, came out on my wall. Click Here to know how you can customise your gift with Printcious :)

I guess you guys have already known what I have made for her. 😊
Yup, I made a magic mug for her!

Here are some of the examples of the designs of the mug. To be honest, I am a person who is lack of creativity. I definitely have no idea on how to design the mug. Hopefully, these pictures help a little on inspiring you 😄

So, here is the mug. I am pretty impressed by the service!

Let me tell you why is it the perfect gift!

First of all, the mug arrived my place safely, wrapped with 4-5 of bubble wraps! It is so secure that I can throw my parcel on the floor and the mug will still be undamaged.

Secondly, it delivers pretty fast. I ordered it on the 16th and they only used 10 days to make the mug. The mug reached my place on the 27th, which mean they only use like 7-10 working days!

Thirdly, the mug is in high quality! Totally worth the money though.
At first, I was like, is it worth to get such an expensive mug? Even though it's a magic mug, it is just a normal mug for me. For my friend? I feel that it can be really memorable. :)

Last but not least, the picture is so damn clear!
I was so worried that the picture will come out blur and unclear because I got all the pictures from the online. Surprise surprise, they came out really good 💗

Now, let's see how I have designed the mug :)

*Ps, I didn't use the mug, I just poured some hot water for photo purposes

What do you think about the mug?
It is super lovely, right?

I am really glad that my friend loves it. 😄
Hope this post helps a little for you if you are having trouble with what to get for your friends. 😊

Thanks for reading!

CLYL.

Sorry for MIA (missing in action ) for so long.
And I am finally back!

I have been preparing for my finals and I think I did quite okay... I think 😅
Except for 1 paper, which I am not very confident.

Normally we don't extend our exam, even when there are mistakes/ errors in the paper.
However, in this paper, which is called Survey Methods and Managerial Statistics, there are 3 mistakes out of 4 questions. We understand that our lecturer is human and we do make mistakes.
But having mistakes in 3 out of 4 questions? That's kind of outrageous. The only question that has no mistake is the non-calculation one. That's my first time having exam extended for so long, which is 30minutes.

Our lecturer has assured us that the paper will be like the past year paper and if we can finish the PYP, we would not have any problem with finals. Well, surprise, surprise, guess what!?
Everyone is scolding the lecturer after the paper though. Haiz...

Alright, that the update for university part.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let's talk about something fun.

The first thing I did after my finals is to go and remove my nails. As you guys might already know, I did my first gel manicure at Enchanted Siblings and it's so pretty 😍 I love it so much that I don't really feel like removing it but it is too long for me and I feel that my nails are going to fall soon if I do something rough. 😅 So yea, back to simplicity.

I also attended my friend's birthday party, which is 2 days after my paper.
I was like "wow luckily I finished my paper earlier!" Or not I don't think that I can attend the party though. My mom will ground me from going out 😂

After the party, we went for 2nd round to Play Club KL and it is my first time in a club!
I was so excited and my heart thumbed so fast, that I thought I have heart attack. :O
Anyway, it is a great experience and I shall blog more about it soon, so stay tuned to my blog. 😊

Oh oh, btw, I am currently watching Kdrama, such as While We Were Sleeping and Revolution.
My friend asked me to watch Mad Dog and Witch Court soon cause she said that it is nice.
Any other nice drama that you guys want to recommend me? My life is currently so boring that only left drama, blogging and mobile legend 😂 (I am not a gaming person, but my friend convinced me to play ML and LOL with him)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Friends?
I am actually pretty looking forward to meet up with my friends. But some of them are having finals  :( .
I also wanted to plan a short trip with them but it's so hard. It is not that no one wants to plan it, but it is super hard to find days where all of us are free.

Blogging?
I am now working on some review posts. Hopefully I can post all of them as soon as possible.
Besides that, I have also filmed a beauty video, which I want to share with you guys. Hopefully it comes out good :D So subscribe to my Youtube Channel if you haven't and stay tuned ;)

Future ? Working ? Idk.
I still have no plan yet. But the only thing I know is that I wish I can work in the bank headquarter or maybe join the training program, which is really hard to go in. I didn't know that a lot of people wanting to join the training program and I feel so stress competing with them :O.

Oh well, here I am joining the labor force and being unemployed.
Please employ me please xD

That's all for this post.
It is a very chill post, all about my life update to my fellow friends and followers. :)

Thanks for reading!

CLYL.

I have been using this sunblock for a few weeks and I must say that this is one of the best sunblocks that I have used. Ever since I know the importance of taking care of my skin, sunblock has been one of the essentials in my everyday routine. I have tried so many sunblocks and I have a really high expectation on sunblock because it can help to protect my skin from all the harms and UV rays.

Do you know that you are exposed to UV rays even when you are at indoors?

The sun's UV rays can actually penetrate windows to reach your skin and thus accelerate skin aging.
Besides getting the UV rays from the window, the fluorescent light and electrical devices, such as mobile phone, computer and television can give out UV rays.

Besides accelerating your skin aging, you will also get freckles when you are old!
Don't tell me that I didn't warn you that sunblock is super important in our everyday life ya. 😛

If you have high expectation of sunblock like me and am currently looking for an affordable sunblock, you are on the right page! 😊

Recently, I discovered this Vella Ultra Hydro Sun Essence, which is like a 2-in-1, containing the essence that your skin love and sunblock. It is SPF 50+/ PA+++, which is suitable for outdoor activities, as it has a very protective ability from UV rays.

As I have mentioned earlier, it contains the essence that your skin will love because it is made using 30 ocean extracts, 45 plants extracts and deep sea water with 61% moisture, which mean that it is all natural. BTW, it even has the wrinkle improvement function!

Why Vella Ultra Hydro Sun Essence?

1. Light Weighted

It is watery and it slides on my face smoothly when I applied it to my face.
Since young, I hate applying sunblock, because most of the sunblocks are sticky and oily, especially when I have to be under the sun all the time. However, this sunblock has a light texture, and it absorbs into the skin really fast.

2. Suitable under makeup

Since it is light weighted, I feel nothing after applying it.
Thus, it is suitable even under makeup, especially when you are lazy to apply foundation/ bb cream.
It can act as a primer, giving you the Korean dewy look, which brings me to the next point.

3. Glowy finish

Unlike those colored sunblocks, it is transparent, but it has a dewy and glowy kind of finish.
It is in light yellow in color and once you spread it out, it will become invisible. It doesn't make my face yellowish or what, but it did make my skin glow and looks healthier.

4. Waterproof

It is waterproof, which mean that it can last for the whole day. I do not have to worry that it will melt and I have to reapply it after a few hours, especially in a humid country, like Malaysia. I don't even have to worry that I will wipe my sunblock off if I sweat too much and wearing it for a swim is not a problem at all.

5. No harmful substances

There are no harmful substances on the skin as there is no parabens, artificial colors and other ingredients that are bad for our skin. It is sensitive skin friendly and you don't have to worry that you will have rashes after applying it. 😊

Verdict

It smells pretty good and it is like fresh ocean smell, which I really like it.
I am a very lazy person so I feel that this is the perfect sunblock for me because I don't have to reapply it even if I am out all day, and also all the other benefits that I have mentioned earlier. 😄

For more info, check HERE.
To purchase it, click HERE.

Btw, it is having promotion in Althea, feel check it out :).

Hi guys, how's everyone doing?

It's SWOT (study without teaching) week in Monash.
A lot of people don't understand why our finals are so early. Well, the reason is that Monash follows  Australians' time, and a lot of other Universities follow UK's time. When we are struggling for finals, some of my friends from universities like Utar, and Sunway are having their good time in university.

In the midst of rushing my final assignments, I volunteered myself to be a Buddy.
Buddy is actually a Peer Mentoring Program for the new intake students. Monash always has Buddies from every school (Business, Engineering, Art, and etc) around the campus for the first week to assist the new intakes. Anyone who has completed 1-2 semester in Monash is eligible to apply for the job.

So, Monash has a really weird timing for the new intakes, which is in October, where everyone is preparing for finals. When I signed up to become a buddy, I feel that I must be crazy, especially when I am in my last semester of university. If I ever fail any unit (*choi choi), I won't be able to graduate at the same time as my friends. Besides that, my parents will have to pay extra money, which is really expensive, for me to retake the unit. Oh noo... I can't imagine that  :O

But then, to become a buddy has been one of my To-Do-List in Unversity.
I listed down the benefits and drawbacks of joining the program and I realized that how much I want to be part of it. Worst come to worst, I will have to work even harder, no chillax time and more sleepless nights for my assignments and studies.

It is a brand new experience for me and I feel that besides spending time helping new intakes, I also get to know more people. Expanding my friend circle can be really hard to me because I always stick to the same group of people. TBH, I have a very shy personality (which my friends don't believe😂).

We have our first briefing session to guide us on what to do and not to do during the orientation.
We also got our respective tasks, such as the administrative issues, parent info session, transition celebration and others. I am in the Student ID Photo session, helping students in id application.  For that session, we are only required to be there for 2 days (2 hours each), which I think is reasonable, cause I don't have to be there like 24hr. Unfortunately, I am only able to attend the first session, so I feel quite guilty for not able to help out the other day.

The most fun of being a buddy must be the CAMPUS TOUR!
Ever since I attended the campus tour in my first year in Monash, I have been always wanted to be one of them to bring students around the campus. I am so weird, right? Can someone be "shy and outgoing" or/ "introvert and extrovert" at the same time? xD

During the campus tour, I actually bumped into my friends and she is like "shh.. don't tell them all the stuff, especially the secret places to study 😂". Oh mai, my friend, we are graduating soon, so why can't I share this with them? xD

Omg, this story is going longer and longer 😂.
I should stop here now and back to study.

Bye!

Love,
CLYL

Ps. I am grateful to be able to attend University and am proud to be a Monashian 💗
