I went to Victoria Night Market, one of the most expensive night market that I have gone, with a bunch of friends. We tried a lot of nice food there and also we had a lot of fun. Hopefully to go to their morning market soon.

Friends and I went to St Kilda. We had a lot of fun and it's my first time seeing wild penguins walking infront of me without those thick glass blocking me to go near it. It's really a nice experience seeing those penguins and knowing what kind of sound they made.

Hope you guys enjoy watching it and I will see you guys next time :)

August is going to end and now only I am sharing my July's favourite.
Supposingly it's time for me to share August's one, but I didn't want to miss a month's favourite, by combining July and August favourite together. Despite I am still loving my July's favourites.

So, this is going to be a short post and let's get started :)

1. Camera

Sony HX90V, my vlog buddy.

I have been vloging consistently for the longest time.
Back in Malaysia, I do make videos, but they're short one with different topics.
I am currently doing like a series daily vlog to record my life and also to update my family.

This camera is so handy and easy to use that I didn't regret buying it. Even though I wanted to buy the Canon G7X at first.

2. Music

Jarryd James - 1000x

Recommended by my sister and it's so nice. Kind of brain washing though.

In another lifetime, I would never change my mind
I would do it again, a thousand times.

The lyric is so beautiful, but it's kind of unrealistic because nothing can last forever.
How do you know that in another lifetime, you will still love the same person?

Eric周興哲  -  你,好不好?

This song is love <3

3. Clothes

Unicorn onsie, my life saver in Melbourne.

I can't imagine sleeps without it.
It's so soft and comfy that it keeps me warm through all the nights.

4. Candles

Yankee Candle

prevent my room from getting weird smell. Living in winter country, I can't open my window as often  as I like because of the cold weather. With the help of the candle, my room is always filled with the scent of snowflake cookie (currently using that flavour). <3

So, that's all for my July's favourites and stay tuned for me next month's favourites ;)

Thanks for reading !

CLYL.

I don't really enjoy working out. But working out, warm up my body. And doing exercise with friend is always better than doing it alone. I have enjoyed myself doing exercise with my friend, even though it's quite tiring. Hope you guys found it hilarious like I do :D

Monash Clayton is so big and we are not yet finished walking the university ! What I like Monash Clayton the most is when there's free food ! There is almost free food everyday before the school started ! This might not be the most interesting or fun video, but this video will make you kind of "involve" in my "boring" life and know me a little bit more.

Hope you guys enjoy watching them and I will see you guys next time :)

Have been wanted to do a winter wardrobe essential kind of blog since I have arrived in Melbourne.
And I always want an opportunities to have a photo shoot outsite the house. But it seems impossible because everyone has their on work to do and I can't really afford a photographer. LOL.

It is already 1 month + since I arrived at Melbourne. I took tons of videos, that it kind of shocked me when I realized that there's not much photos in my gallery :o

I collected all the photos that I have taken and here I am blogging about my wardrobe essentials in winter. I literally keep wearing all these clothes because I only bring some of them here.

I have been staying in Malaysia for 20 years and I wonder why I didn't have the thought of making a "summer wardrobe essential" or "go to school outfit". It's kind of hilarious that I am now doing this.
Oh well, let's stop those nonsense and get it started :)

1. Long coat

A long jacket is my first essential ! It doesn't only make you look good, it also keep you warm.
A nice long jacket matches everything, and if your skinny jeans is too tight, it can cover up your awkward panty line :P

2. Skinny jeans

Skinny jeans. Yeap. I believe that everyone's house surely have a pair of skinny jeans in their wardrobe, regardless it is a ripped skinny jeans or color skinny jeans.
It's fashionable, it makes you look skinnier, it keep your leg warm, it blocks the direct wind to your legs and it's perfect for winter. So, it's a must to have a few pairs of skinny jeans in my wardrobe. I have 3 pairs of black skinny jeans and I don't think it's too much :P

3. Sweater

Sweater ! Another must have in winter.
You can always match it with scarf, and collar shirt. It always make me cozy.

4. Black Outfits

Basically black outfits look good at everything ! It's the easiest choice. When you don't know what to wear, or when you feel fat, wear black!  Because it makes me look way cooler, and slimmer.
My all time trustful color that will always make me look good.

5. Sneaker

My last but not least wardrobe essentials in winter goes to sneaker !
A comfortable and nice sneaker keeps us going further. In winter, it's insane to wear a sandal/ slipper out. Even though I want, but the minute I stepped out, my toes will be frozen.

Thanks Kei for spending your time to shoot those photos for me and also be my model.
接下来几个月,请多多指教. :)

Thanks for reading !

I have came to a point that I decided to post 2 videos a week.
And I will be posting videos on every Tuesday and Saturday on my Youtube channel.
People might think that why I only post 2 videos a week, since it's a daily vlog.

What I can is that I am sure people might not want to watch the same thing in every video, like what I have eaten in a day, or me going to school attending classes or even me doing house core.

So, I have saved up some of the videos and I will slowly post them on my channel. I want a consistent update, and not like this months got a lot of videos, and next month has only 1-2 videos.

Therefore, this is why I am posting July's vlog on August :)

Hey there,
it's winter now in Melbourne and I am looking forward to Spring.

Growing up in Malaysia, a 365days summer country, I have never lived in a cold country before.
Even though I traveled, the vacation only last like 1 week to 10days.
So I only have to bear the coldness for that short period.

It's quite challenging for me to live in a 4 seasons country for half a year.
Especially it's winter now in Melbourne and I have no idea what to expect when I first landed.
The weather here is colder and windy than I have expected.

Luckily I have met 2 lovely and caring landlords who gave me some tips on keeping myself warm in winter. It kind of helped me to stay warmer here.

1. Layer up

It's easier to warm your body temperature than the room temperature. You might think that one big winter-jumper will keep you warmer than wearing layers of thin clothes. But the truth is, layers of thin clothes will keep you warmer as they trap body heat.

Always wear a scarf, instead of a hat when you are out. A scarf always make me warmer than wearing any other accessories. When your neck is warm, your body will automatically feel warm.

2. Eat/ drink well

Eating regular meals, healthy food like soup/stew and porridge are great choices to warm you up. I always crave for a bowl of hot soup/ noodle soup when I am here <3

It is common that people eat high calories food, like meat, chocolate to keep themselves warm. But a cup of hot tea or coffee may make you feel warmer, even without eating those high calories food. The caffeine can increase the blood flow to the skin, but it won't last long, so a cup of hot tea is always better.

3. Switch between hot and cold water

Hot showers immediately warm you up, but it makes your skin dry and decrease your immune system. Try to cool down your hot shower a little bit, as a cold showers improve blood circulation and make you feel less cold when your body is not touching the water. I always shiver when I am not in the hot shower, so this tips really helped me to shiver less.

4. Move around

Do some exercise! It helps to circulate your blood and release body heat. If you hate exercise like me, you can always go out and walk around. The first time I sweat during winter, is when I have a 15-20 min of walk from IKEA.

Or cook ! I always feel warm when I am cooking. Save money from not eating out and it makes me warm without needing a heater.

5. Layer your cover.

A warm and thick blanket always keep you warm in your sleep. Wear a thicker pajama and bed socks to keep your feet from getting cold overnight. A nice and long sleep always make you refresh the next day and get you ready for the up coming work.

So, that's all the tips that I have learnt.
Back in Malaysia, I always wear shorts. And now I am missing it already :P
