This is my first time buying something from Althea even though I have heard a lot of good comments about it.. My parcel reached my place super fast, even though it is shipped all the way from Korea !
It is estimated to reach my place in 1-2 weeks time, but it arrived my doorstep in a week and WOW ! I am impressed.

Guess what encouraged me to buy things despite that I am broke af 😆
It's actually the birthday kit that everyone is raving about !
To be honest, I have nothing to buy because I still have some stock in my cupboard.
Yup, I purposely bought something because of the birthday kit 💓

Click on the video to watch the whole process of me unboxing the Althea box and diy-ing my birthday cake :)

Ps. I am so sorry about the overexposure. If you like this video please click the like button and subscribe to my channel :)

Oh yea, click on the subtitle cc if you can't get what I was saying 😆

Hope you enjoy it.

A huge thank to WatsonsMy for having me in the Swanicoco Product Launch Event.
It is not as fun as the Pika Pika Tea Party, which is hosted by Watsons as well, but definitely worth the experience.

A little introduction of Swanicoco, a brand that began making naturally fermented soaps which now is South Korea's leading cosmetics company. Swanicoco's philosophy stems from using its trademarked anti-aging fermentation process which produces natural bio ingredients replacing artificial chemical ingredients. It is dermatologically safe, having no skin side effects and earth friendly. Swanicoco provides the assurance of providing excellent benefits to the skin, including regenerating and controlling skin elasticity using organic herbal and botanical sourced from all over the world.

I arrived the place pretty early and I got to walk around and take tons of the photos before the crowd came. These are the main products that they are going to introduce.

A.C control care Skin Toner & Emulsion 120ml/ Rm118.90

It is recommended for those who are acne prone, oily, neutral, dull skin tone and even sensitive skin.
It is also suitable for those, who are looking for easy sebum control, pore control and those who in need of nourishment for vital skin

RH-EGF Pure ampoule 40ml/ Rm253.90

It is suitable for all types of skin, especially for dull/troublesome and sensitive. It has excellent regeneration power with addition of peptide, skin improving and preventing external stimulation. It is recommended for people who has dry skin that feels tight, need moisture without oil and it can also recover and give you new skin.

Gold plant stem pure ampoule 40ml/Rm253.90

This is an intensive skincare that contains cultivated wild ginseng stem cell root and gold extract, which can help to control the elasticity and damaged skin. It can nourish you skin and help to keep it moisture and improve skin tone. It is a luxury treatment, especially for dry, rough, damaged, sensitive skin to bring back the brightness and firm of your skin.

Extra Hydrating Swan Cream 50ml/Rm126.90

This is for extremely dry skin and skin that become rough easily.
It can be used as a sleeping mask pack, which can moisturize your skin overnight.
I got a full size of this, so I might be doing a more detailed review for this so stay tuned :)

Another picture of me.

Thank you YanRu and Ivy for helping me to take the photos <3

This is the beauty booth for all of us to know more about the products and try them on.
The skin consultant here is really helpful on giving us a brief introduction on each of their products.
But I was like keep taking picture non stop 😂 Sorry, if I annoyed you. LOL

This is me trying the Real Essence Hydro Balancing Oil.
This smells really decent and not too strong. I hope that I can get it on hand though.

Took a candid shot of the beauty consultant, who was explaining the products with the beauty bloggers, who have attended the event. 😊 All so busy taking photos though 😆

Members of media and bloggers also got a chance to understand the brand in fun games and activities card during the event. We will receive extra gifts, which is the mask sheet and more samples after we completed the tasks.

The first activity is "Get to Know Swanicoco" which is the briefing session with the beauty consultant and I got my second star chop stamp after I played the " Swanicoco Memory Game", where I have to match 2 similar cards as you can see at the background of this picture. The third and also the last task is to post a picture that you have taken in Swanicoco event in your instagram with hashtags. 😊

A welcoming note from the emcee.

This is the opening performance. They are really talented.
If you followed my instagram, you might already saw it from my insta story :)

This ballet swan lake dance performance is complementing Swanicoco's brand name, which mean pursuing the elegance of a "swan" (feminine) and "coco" (coconut, which offer botanical natural cosmetics), which mean "cuteness" in French.

Swanicoco's product range including the Bitamin E extra matt emulsion, Pore Clearance, A.C control care skin toner, best seller Gold plant stem pure ampoule, RH-EGF Pure ampoule and the hydrating swan cream were showcased with the "live" skin care demonstration session conducted by Swanicoco's skin expert flown in from Korea, Ms Adia Song.

The event ended successfully with the General Manager of WatsonsMy and General Manager of Swanicoco Korea placing the crown on the swan's head.

Jazel Lim was invited as Swanicoco's social influencer to share about her beauty tips.

They also provide food like Kimchi rice, kimchi pancake, soup and tea. However, the food is a disappointment.  Luckily it is not the main point of the event, or not it will totally ruined everything.

Goodies that I received in my goodie bag.

Swanicoco is available exclusively at selected Watsons store & Online store in Malaysia.
BTW, I write this post is purely because I wanted to write not because of anyone. :)

Thanks for reading.

Love,
CLYL.

Say goodbye to troublesome lip make up, where you have to apply lip balm before your lipstick
or lip gloss to achieve plump and juicy lips!

This single item can satisfy even the most demanding woman.
It creates a thin film that clings flexibly to your lips, for a comfortable, non-sticky feeling that lasts.

Sound interesting ?

Introducing you guys this Canmake Stay On Balm Rouge where it has moisturizing ability, like a lip balm, with colors 😃 In short, it is actually a colored lip balm, with tinted effect.

It is long lasting tinted type and it moisturize while wearing makeup.
It contains beautifying and moisturizing agents, which keeps your lips plump, soft and moist.
Furthermore, it also has UV protection, which can protect your lips against from UV rays that can cause dryness, chapping and dullness. Best part? The UV absorbers is non-chemical formulation and it is acted like a gentle protection for your lips 😄

Now, you can say bye bye to chapped lips and

say hello to beautiful and moist lips.

There is a lot of colors from this range, as you can see from the photo.

[02] Smily Gerbera is a bright, stylish orange
[03] Tiny Sweetpea is a pure red that highlights your complexion
[05] Flowing Cherry Petal is a pink that offers a short-cut girlishness
[06] Sweet Clematis is a pink beige which can use without choosing a sense
[08] Juicy Peony is an eye-catching vivid pink
[09] Masquerade Bud is a dark red that blends in softly
[10] Flowery Princess is a bright, glamorous coral red

Look at my lips ! This is me after applying the balm and it gives me a sheen of gloss, which makes my lips look shiny bling bling ! You are welcome :) I helped you to save one more product :)

It is very smooth and it glides off effortlessly when I am applying it.
It provides a solid color despite the light texture, creating irresistible lips with a natural luster.

Doesn't understand what I mean?
Look at the photos below :)

The color that I got is in shade 03, which is the Tiny Sweetpea
It is a pure red that highlights your complexion, but definitely looks more toward pink when I swatches it on my wrist.  I realized that the color did not pay off very well and is pretty sheer.

I was a little disappointed because it is neither red nor pigmented and it supposed to have the tinted effect.
I personally owned a few tinted lipstick and all the color of my lip tint are very vivid.
So I did not expect much when I apply it on my lips.

[Updated]

My thoughts

Surprise, surprise.
It is very creamy and pigmented when it is on my lips! Like I said, it is very easy to apply and you can apply it directly even to chapped lips, which is super convenient. I normally will bring lip balm and lip stick out in my bag. Now I only have to bring one, and it is great ! It has a tinted rouge like a moisturizing lip balm and I always hope that my lipsticks/ liptints are hydrating enough for me not to apply lip balm underneath.

Even though it is a tinted lip balm, the staying power is not very good.
The color does fade off after my meal, but still able to leave some color on my lips, which create a very natural kind of tone. If you are looking for a high staying power of lipstick, this might not be your best choice, but if you are looking for a good hydrating colored lip balm, you can try this. This lip balm is unscented and tasteless, and it is good for people who doesn't like scented lipstick because some lip balms come with scents and some lipstick tastes weird 👉👈

       Color: 5/5
Staying Power: 2.5/5
Moisture: 5/5
Packaging: 4/5
(The packaging is a bit too long for a lip balm, but the floral design is so cute <3)

Overall rating: 4/5

Overall, I am super satisfied with this Canmake Stay On Balm Rouge because it is a moisturizing lipbalm/ lipstick with little staying power. What kind of lipstick do you prefer ? Colored lip balm? matte lipstick ? Lip Tint ? or Lip gloss?

Comment down below to let me know 😃
Thanks for reading !

Canmake is one of my favorite Japanese brand because of its natural makeup and cute packaging.
You might wonder, how did I know Canmake when they didn't even have their store yet?
True enough, if not my friend, I won't be able to know this brand.

Things happen back in 2015, when I first attended Canmake event at KLCC.
It is also that time when I fall in love with their products.
Then only I realized that they are actually available in Sasa, which I always miss out.
Btw, I also did a vlog on that event ! It's my first ever vlog, so yea please be kind ya 😆

Now, Canmake finally has their own store, which is at DaMen Mall!

Congratulations !

I have a lot of fun that day because I received a full size of Canmake product, as well as a goodie bag that full of products ! <3 You tell me, how can I not love them?

The event was started at 2pm and I reached the place at around 1.40pm.
Guess what? There is a lot of people lining up and I am one of the few that is kia-su one 😂
This is because Canmake was giving away a goodie bag for the first 100 people who visit their new store!

Actually I did not plan to write anything about the event, so I did not take any picture of the store, or the queue. This post was actually meant for the Canmake Stay On Balm Rouge Review. But it seems like I am going on the way of my event story. LOL.

Also, I am super happy to be able to meet ChanWon again in the event.
And I finally got a picture with her! 😍
She's so nice and friendly in person.

Oh well, I shall stop the story here cause I actually did not do much there, except trying their new products and chatting with people. Actually is I don't know what else to write d HAHA
I will be writing my review on the Canmake Stay On Balm Rouge on my next post cause I believe that people are more interested in the review and not my long grandma story 😆
If you guys are interested in the product, please have a little patience and stay tuned ya 😊

So that's all for this post and I will see you guys soon ~

Ps. It's fun writing this kind of short and chill post though. Bye! 😄

Love,

I personally hate applying hair oil. Some of the hair oils are so thick and oily
that it makes me look like I have not wash my hair for a lot of days.
I have hair fall problem and I always feel very sad to see my hair to fall.

After I dyed my hair, I don't wash it everyday because I want the color to last a little longer.
However, it leaves my scalp oily and dry ends. This makes me even refused to apply hair oil.
(Btw, read my hair color transformation if you haven't :)

My first impression toward the LUCIDO-L Argan Oil Hair Treatment Oil was the smell.
Before I even tried it, I already fall in love with it because I am a person who is quite particular about smell. If it smells good, I will definitely give an extra point for it. :D

My sister even said that it smells like some high class salon xD
The scent that left on your hair after you had a hair wash/ after you visited the salon.

Like what is written on the bottle, this hair treatment oil contains and rich and high concentration  Argan Oil, which is process and compress with high pressure to develop high concentration oil. It can help to boost absorption for better spread to coat each strand of your hair for lighter and smoother finishing. It is also able to repair and restore natural luster for a shinier beautiful hair without greasy feeling.

It is a leave in hair treatment, which can repairs split ends and hair breakage, leaving hair smooth and shiny and moist. Do you know that going for a hair treatment in a salon is super expensive?
With this, you can save a lot of money as it can intensively moisture thick and damaged hair for a consistent healthy shine and suppleness. All the nutrients that your hair need are all in this bottle ! <3

Also!
Do you know that this LUCIDO-L Argan Oil Hair Treatment Oil has a Heat Protection Formula that protects your hair from heat emitted from hair dryer or hair styling tools? I feel that this is especially good and useful for people who always style their hair to protect against the damages to the hair.  Besides that, it also has UV Protection Formula that protects your hair from all the UV rays ! Now, it looks like your hair also need to put "sunblock". :D

I was so amazed when I found out that  that it doesn't only give my hair nutrient and repair, but it also protect my hair from all the harms !

LIKE WHAT !? 😆😍

Texture and Fragrance

The texture is extremely light and it does't leave the sticky residue on my hand.
Yet, it glides on and spread on my hair easily and provides a good amount of moisture to my hair.
It is said that the product can be used approximately 100 times, estimation on 3 pumps per usage on semi long hair. Hmm.. we will see whether it's true or no :)

It has a really nice scent, which is flowery fruit (apple peach jasmine) smell.
It smells incredible good and the scent lasts for a long time on my hair.
My hair is still smooth and silky the next day and I tell you what, no one is going to judge me even if I tell them that I did not wash my hair. My hair is still smell fresh and people will just think that I just washed it :P

How to use?

⧪ Before blow dry your hair
1. Use the product after hair wash and towel dry
2. Take a small amount on your palm (1-2 pumps)
3. Spread it on your palm before spread them evenly on mid until hair tip of your hair
3. After that, blow dry your hair.

⧪Before using hair curler or flat iron
To protect your hair from heat
Apply an appropriate amount of oil on your hair before using any hair tools.

⧪Final finishing for styling
To have sleek and beautiful shiny hair
Take a small amount and spread evenly on your hair, especially hair tips.
Blend a small amount of oil onto your hair to condition the shape of curls perfectly.

My thoughts

From the photos above, you can see that it leaves my hair shinier and smoother.
It does look a bit greasy, but believe me, it is so light like feather and there is no any greasy feeling at all. Super love it, as it did not make my hair greasy or pull down any weight of my hair after application. It is the shine that makes my hair alive again and this is AWESOME !

You guys might think that "hmm, not much difference also"
Don't worry, I did another experiment for you guys ;)

My hair is not very damage after-all because I originally have a straight hair.
So, I decided to try the products on my sister's hair, which is a lot frizzy than mine.
And the result is stunning !

Look at the huge difference ! OMG !

Can you believe this ? This is my sister hair, which has gone through bleaching and dying.
It was so frizzy and dead but smooth and silky now !

I seriously did not expect this outcome though because the frizziness in my sister hair is untamable.
She uses hair oil everyday and there is no hair oil that can make such huge difference.
This is her hair after her first use. Impressive right ?

Close up photos for you guys to see.

I will definitely recommend this for you guys who have dry hair or smelly head (LOL) 😛
Cause it really smells amazing <3

Shininess: 5/5
Moisture: 5/5
Weightlessness: 4/5
Scent: 5/5
Price : $ (super affordable)

Overall rating: 5/5 💓 😍

Lastly, I would like to thank Nuffnang for giving me this bottle of goodness. <3

That's all for the review.
Thanks for reading !

CLYL.

As you guys know, I joined the Pika Pika Sparkling Bright Tea Party few days ago.
I even blogged and vlogged about it. Go and check it out now if you haven't read it :)

So today, I am going to write a more detailed review about the products so that you guys can understand the usage and functions of the products better.

This is the Sparkling Bright Fruity Cleansing Liquid (Rm79)

This is the first product that I want to talk about. This cleansing liquid contains AHA and BHA, which can help to dissolve dead skin and impurities in clogged pore. It also help in brightening and peeling your skin, which can be acted as waterproof makeup, dirt and blackhead remover.

Usage: Wet your face, apply an apropriate amount onto palm. Gently massage onto the face to allow the makeup and impurities to melt off. Lastly, rinse thoroughly.

Recommendation: All type skin

My thoughts
I really love the scent of this cleansing liquid, which is very fruity and apple.
What is more awesome about this product is that the AHA and BHA are extracted from natural fruit. It is very gentle and I can't believe that it can removes my waterproof makeup so easily! I always thought that only oil-based makeup remover can remove strong makeup such as mascara, effortlessly. (Watch the video below to know how amazing this product is :)

Like what I have stated, it contains natural fruit extract, which mean that it is save to use even for people who have sensitive skin. It does feel a little bit tingling when the liquid went in my eyes, but nothing uncommon on my skin. Also, it taste bitter ! (Don't ask me why I tasted it. LOL)

With this, removing makeup is no longer an issue because I can easily remove your makeup easily in the shower. Don't you think that it's super convenient because you don't have to spend extra money on getting cotton pad? :D

This is the Sparkling Bright Peel Off Mask (Rm49)

It can help to purify dead skin and absorb excess oil.
What is more awesome is that it contains ARBUTIN, which can help to inhibit dark spots and freckles.
It can even prevent skin aging and help to revive dull skin shortly !

Now you know why are these range of products called Pika Pika. :)

My thoughts

It has whitening effect which almost all the Malaysian love. But it really hurts when I tried to peel it off from my hand. :( We did not apply this on our face because this require around 10-15 minutes for it to dry.

I did not get this one for myself so this is going to be a short review for you guys who's wondering what it's for.

This is the Sparkling Bright Hot and Cool Cleansing Gel (Rm39)

I tell you, this baby is amazing !
Like the name itself, it have the Thermal Effect (hot) which can help to enlarge pores for removing blackhead and dirt, as well as Menthol (cool) which can help to soothe your skin and shrink pores !
In summary, it has double functions, which are cleansing and repairing.

It helps to purify dead skin and absorb excess oil and it is recommended to only used only on T-zone and blackhead areas. It can also help to revive dull skin, improve skin transparency and strengthen skin barrier! Thus, it is acted as old keratin and blackhead remover as well.

Usage: Apply evenly over cleansed nose. Then gently massage and rinse through when you feel cooling sensation.

Recommendation: Use 1-2 times per week for best result.

My thoughts

When I first tried it, I can feel that my nose is warm, and cool down later on after a few minutes.
It has a very thick and sticky texture, which is pretty hard for me to spread. However, it has an advantage of being sticky because I don't have to worry that it will drip everywhere when I am waiting for it to cool down ;)

I am not sure whether is it because I do not have much blackhead on my nose, I can't see a huge different after using this products. I would like to try this on my cousin's nose, who suffered a lot of blackhead but I have not seen him in a while and I might update you guys here soon after the "experiment". :)

By the way, do you know which is my favorite product of all three ?
My favorite of the Pika Pika Skincare range goes to......drum rolls....

It's the Sparkling Bright Fruity Cleansing Liquid !!

This is a really awesome product and I feel that you guys should definitely try it :D

Oh I have a great deal for you guys who want to purchase Pika Pika products !

Hi Bunnies !
Few days ago, I was invited to the Pika Pika Sparkling Bright Tea Party at Foret Blanc.
I feel very grateful to be able to attend the event. A huge thank to The Butterfly Project and Watsonsmy for having me. This is my first ever event after joining The Butterfly Project and I must say that this has really made my day.

So why is it called the Pika Pika Sparkling Bright Tea Party ?
This is because it is a tea party which is going to make our skin sparkle and bright.

Doesn't understand what I mean ?

To give you a hint, these are the babies that can do magic. :D

Here is the emcee, trying to introduce us the Pika Pika products from Japan.
Pika Pika is actually a Japanese word, which means glitter, sparkle or shine.
The emcee is very cute and I really love the way she speaks, which make the party so lively.

She has really done a great job in introducing the products and I am so excited to try out the products myself.

By the way, I will be doing a more detailed review of the products in my next post, so stay tuned. :)

After the introduction of the products, we have the No Mirror Makeup Challenge and
I have so much fun doing the challenge !

Even though I was a bit insecure to remove my makeup in front of everyone, especially they are people who I just met. Fortunately, I have met a bunch of friendly people who have the same interest as me and they have definitely made this challenge extra fun.

Ps. I did not take any of the selfie because I look like disaster after the makeup challenge xD

This is us busy removing our makeup using the Sparkling Bright Fruity Cleansing Liquid  after the challenge.

Sparkling Bright Fruity Cleansing Liquid (Rm79)

I am really surprised by this product because it removes my makeup thoroughly, even my waterproof mascara !

I always hate applying mascara because first thing, my eye lashes are very short.
I always spent a few minutes on removing it and I always ended up losing some of my lashes.
With this, I remove my makeup effortlessly within a few seconds.

Photo from Sherry.

I actually wanted to take an individual photos with everyone since they are the first bunch of friends I knew from The Butterfly Project. They are so friendly and they definitely have a young heart because I can't feel any age gap with them ! <3

This is the photo taken after we used the Sparkling Bright Fruity Cleansing Liquid to remove our makeup.
Don't you think that our face is brighter now ? #flawless #brightface #nofilter

Sparkling Bright Peel Off Mask (Rm49)

This is the Sparkling Bright Peel Off Mask which helps to purify dead skin and absorbs excess oil.

We did not apply this on our face because this require around 10-15 minutes for it to dry.
OMG, I don't know whether is it me or what, when I was trying to peel the mask from my hand, it hurts so much! It might because this is my first time using a peel off mask, as I don't see anyone having trouble peeling it off. I really can't imagine if I have to apply it on my face.

But it really makes my hand very smooth leh. How ? T.T

Sparkling Bright Hot and Cool Cleansing Gel (Rm39)

This product really does its job by having the name of "hot and cold". I can feel that my nose is warm when I applied this, and cool down later on after a few minutes. I believe that the warm effect helps to enlarge my pores for removing the blackhead and cool effect to soothe my skin and shrink pores.

Ps. I will write more detailed review on this in my next post.

This is me trying to apply the Cleansing Gel on my T-zone, as well as areas where I have blackheads.

It has a very thick and sticky texture, which is pretty hard for me to spread. However, it has an advantage of being sticky because I don't have to worry that it will drip everywhere when I am waiting for it to cool down ;)

Before the dessert is served, we also played some games.

In the end, I only got the Cleansing Liquid and Cleansing Gel home because I did not get to answer any questions. Despite that, I still learnt a lot of things and have a lot of fun in the event.

Aren't that the purpose of this event ? :)
Meet friends and have fun learning new products.

The whole Pika Pika Skincare Products are only available at Watsons and it is better for you to purchase it online because it is cheaper as they are having some promotion going on their website :)

Also, don't you think that buying stuff online is always more convenient ?

Oh by the way, here is a greater deal for you guys who want to purchase Pika Pika products online!
You can get Rm10 off with purchase of any PIKA PIKA skincare products using the promocode PIKA10A if you shop online at Watsons Online Store.

The promo code is only valid until 31st July, so be fast ! :)

I will also try to upload a more detailed reviews in my next post as soon as possible before the due date of the promo code so that you guys can be more confident on purchasing the products. So stay tuned.

Dessert Time !

Look what Foret Blanc has prepared for us !
I personally have a sweet tooth and this is like a heaven for me <3

I love their macaroon because it is really soft and not too sweet for my preference.
This macaroons are really tasty and delicious <3

I have tasted some macaroons that are way too sweet and not nice.
So I feel that this really suit my taste bud.

This is also very nice.
Unlike how it looks like, it taste a bit bitter but so yummy!
After my first bite, my mouth is full of coffee aroma and I love this so much.

Scones, my least favorite desserts of all because after tasting all, the scones taste extra
tasteless and less flavorful.  I feel that people who doesn't have sweet tooth might love this.

This is not bad.
I personally don't like cream, so I dig all the way inside for the biscuit and jam xD

I love this as well because the chocolate taste is so strong that it lingered in my mouth even
after I drank lemon water. Love it <3

Special gift from Foret Blanc !

Look at the adorable unicorn dessert :D
I wish that I can keep them in my cupboard as a collection because they are too pretty to be eaten!

Ps. The unicorn macaroon is still in my fridge xD

To end this post, I shall share the video that I have filmed during the event.
It is going to be a short one and I hope you guys enjoy watching it :)
Don't forget to subscribe to my channel for more videos !
*shameless self promoting xD *

Thanks for reading !

Love,
CLYL.
