I went to Kuantan when I was having my Semester break and I actually wanted to post about it but there's too much of photos to be arranged. So I decided to post this seafood restaurant that I strongly recommended to you guys first. I went to this restaurant, which is located at Kuantan before I came back to PJ.

What is so special about this seafood restaurant? The seafood here is VERY FRESH and CHEAP. You can never get this kind of price in the city or even town. Secondly, the food here is very different, as they provide dishes that you hardly find in some of the seafood restaurant, like shark meat.

This is their famous shark meat. It's very fresh and the sauce is very nice. But I felt quite guilty eating shark meat :/ Therefore, I only eat 2-3 pieces only >.< #poorshark

This is the mantis shrimp (If I am not mistaken). This is also very nice and it doesn't have the smell at all :D. Love it <3 Nom nom nom~

This is the fried shrimp. This is a bit salty, so I didn't like this very much. But it will be perfect if you eat it with white rice :)

This is the curry Lala Sotong. I personally don't eat squid, thus I only eat the Lala and okra. It's very rare to see a Lala with fat meat. But in here, you will find that every Lala's meat is soo fat and Q <3 Totally love it and the curry. :)

The tofu. Erm because this is seafood restaurant, so things that beside seafood are just normal :P

This is the "Buddha Jump" (佛跳牆). The name is a bit funny XD. I love yam, so it's definitely my 'plate of dish' ;)

Vegetables ~ Erm very nice, Erm very green. Erm I am lacking of vocabulary XD

This is definitely a place that you will want to try. And it's better for you to go there using the Waze because the place is very hard to find! I have seen a review said that the service is bad, as there's too many people there and they have to wait very long. So I suggest if you don't want to squeeze with the people, you can go there earlier or later. :) That day I went there is already very late, so there is not much people :)

Oh I am hungry >.< I need food :P
Bye ~

I started using contact lens when I was form5. Or maybe earlier, when I bought some daily coloured lens when I was form4? I forgot already :3 I have short memory XP

Go through my photos and finally found one, where I was wearing a grey-colored contact lens.
Not sure whether you guys can see or not, but ya it's actually grey coloured and it's very natural hor ^.^

As I grow up, I wanted to become prettier and during that time, the coloured lens was very popular. Almost every girl wear coloured lens (it's still popular now :P), so that their eyes are bigger 0.0 and more attractive ;)

But there's disadvantages of wearing a coloured lens. Firstly, some of the coloured contact lens are uncomfortable. Secondly, the colour of the lens might slide over your eyes and cause some serious illness, like dismissed vision and blind. Thirdly, the coloured contact lens are actually larger than our normal lenses, which mean that it might block the oxygen to our eyes and cause redness.

Therefore, don't risk your eyes with a bad quality coloured lens, if you insist on wearing a coloured lens. Don't buy it from the night market, which is relatively cheaper. You don't know what quality they're using. But wearing a transparent lens is always better than wearing the coloured one. :)

Then I changed to daily lens. I was using 1-day Acuvue Moist because I didn't wear contact lens so often, so my mom asked me to buy the daily-basis lens. It can save you a lot if you're not wearing it everyday, conversely, it can cost you a lot if you're wearing it everyday.

I like this daily lens the MOST! You know why? It's because it's very soft, flexible, and COMFORTABLE! You can barely feel it's existence :D And it don't go dry easily, even though you have wore it from the day to the night <3 Sometimes, I really thought that I wasn't wearing the lens, but my spectacle, until when I touched my nose bridge :P

BUT it's expensive, if you compared it with the monthly-basis lens :( And then, it provides low Astigmatism (散光). It's actually caused by looking too much of TV and computer.  Few people will get a high astigmatism, so it's not a problem for those who want to buy daily-lens.

Mine is very high, and when I wanted to buy these, the supervisor actually told me that the lens cannot afford my astigmatism, even though my power is not very high. She advised me to put a higher power, so that it won't be too blur for me.

Overall, this is more suitable for those who are either very rich or those who don't wear contact lens everyday, or who are very lazy to wash their lens or those who have dry eye (you don't want to put eye drops everyday right?). Oh ya and those who have low astigmatism :)

I am currently using this Bausch & Lomb monthly lens. After entering university, I started to wear contact lens everyday. This is not as comfortable as the 1-day Acuvue Moist, and it's not that bad either. The price is reasonable, as it's almost the same as the daily lens. But there's 6 pairs of lenses in a box (which mean you can use it for 6 months), whereas the daily lens have 30 pairs (30 times only/ a month if you wear it everyday).

I uses this brand because my sister is using this and she recommended this brand to me. And ya, it's for  astigmatism :) The first time I used this, I felt quite uncomfortable, as I have gotten used to the daily lens. And my eyes sometimes get very dry (if I stayed in the aircond room too long or wore it for the whole day). Now, even though I have get used to the lens, my eyes still get dry sometimes. Therefore, I will just blink my eyes or rest my eyes for a while or put the eye drop(for contact lens use) to release the pain.

Lastly, I would like to advise that please clean your hand thoroughly before you touch the lens, because you don't know that how many bacterias are on your hand. You have only a pair of eyes! And I know that you don't want to take the risk  :)

Bye ~

10 years ago and now. I am sure that we have changed a lot as the time pass.
You might not notice the  small changes of yourself or people you are closed with,
but those changes might be obvious if you see back the time.

1. People come and go

Just few years ago, I lost both of my grandfathers. I always know that people come and people go. It's a process. When there's a new life coming to the world, there must be someone leaving the world. But I actually didn't expect that both of my grandfather passed away because of cancer. Fortunately, both of them died in their home, which is what they wished, and they died in their sleep. Even though they didn't fight against the cancer after suffering so much, I know that they have tried their best not to leave us. We won't blame you and we will always miss you ;)

2. Physical appearance

10 years ago, I was a fatty (now also not very slim). But my uncles and aunts always used to call me "Ah Bui" (Bui means fat in hokkien, so basically they're calling me fatty). I love food and when I was small, I don't control. I just eat whatever I want. I will always pout and get angry at them when they called me Ah Bui XD And then, they will say "Ah Bui, come here. Don't angry d la. I buy sweet for you, okay?" Then I will forget what they have said and run toward them happily, like a dog shaking its tail and followed behind their ass  :P

3. I cry

I was SUPER childish. I cried a lot when I was small (according to my mom and the photo of me crying that was captured by my dad). I cried over a very small thing, almost everything. Maybe it's a big deal for me when I was small. :P When my parents doesn't allow me to eat sweet, I cry. When my parents ask me to go school, I cry. When I can't go to the park/ shopping, I cry. When my elder sister owned a pack of colour pencil/colouring book and I don't have, I cry. When someone blowed the candle of my birthday cake, I cry again XD (OMG Damn embarrass wei >.<)

4. Relationships

We always play together even though we didn't see each other for a long time. We still can get along together very well, without any gender or age gap. We played hide-and-seek, ice-and-fire, 123木頭人 and other childhood games, when there's no WIFI, iPad, iPhone, etc. Chinese New Year is the only festival that all of us will be staying together in the same house for 3-4days. And that's also the only time where I can see my long distance cousin, who's staying at Malacca.

5. Culture

In the previous era, people always very emphasised on the traditional culture. Like when Chinese New Year, things that we need to do or things that we are not allowed to do. In the olden days, people always do things in a full set, they make it very grand, instead of a simple one.

After 10 years, we are still having the same name, almost the same appearance, but something have changed.

1. The extra one

Both of the photos are taken at the exactly same place, same spot, same position, but different people. (There's an extra one in front --- that little boy, who's wearing a grey T). Erm, he's actually not the extra one, we are very grateful that he is with us :) He is a bit naughty and VERY talkative ! He can talk to himself for the whole day, like nobody business :/ When I say "Can you stop talking?" He will surely say "Bu Ke Yi" (cannot) -.- Okay, fine then.

2. Growth

We have grown up, to have a taller height (I am still very short :/), a more mature personality (still childish :/), more knowledgable and so and so forth. Soon, we will be meeting someone who's important in our lives and we will get married and give birth to a very cute baby <3. LOL. I have grown from a cry baby, to a mummy girl, to a rebel teenager, to now a girl who wants to become prettier? I have started to but cosmetics and wanted to become prettier, to enhance my look :D So nice, playing with the makeup.

3. Maturity

As I said, I have grown up be an adult. I have to become more mature and more concerned what is happening to my surrounding. I want to become a more sensitive person, but my friend said that it's very tired. :/ What I think is that, I will eventually join the society out there one day and I can't be the forever blur Cheryl right? I am still learning how to be a mature person, but it doesn't come easily. I am still giving people an unreliable personalities :/ And that's why I change my appearance first :)

4. The gap

The older I grow up, the bigger gap it is, among my cousins. There's age gap, gender gap, country gap, and maybe others. Age gap. Now, we have separated into few groups: The secondary school group, the primary school group, the University group and a group between the secondary and University group (College / From6?). And I am in the group between secondary and University. Why not in University group? Because I am not allowed to? Or because their topics doesn't suit me? Or because soon they are no longer a University student? I don't know the exact reason, but sometimes, I just can't go in their conversation :/ We separated into groups and we stayed in our comfort zone, thinking that the youngster are too childish, or the olders are being too serious. We don't play around like last time when we are young, playing some stupid sumo games (no touchy touchy), and that's the gender gap.

5. The new generation

In the new generation, people tends to forget about our own culture. Sometimes, we just mixed up the traditional and modern one together :3 People are getting lazier and lazier that they don't want to learn the complex tradition and things to be simple. I am quite worried what will happen to my generation or the next generation where people doesn't know what to do when CNY and don't remember the all the Chinese festivals, don't know how to make rice dumpling, etc.

What will happen after  10 years from now, or another 20 years?
I don't know. The future is always a mystery for us.
It doesn't always come out what you have expected.

Bingsu cafe, one of the Korean dessert cafe in Malaysia. Bingsu has been very popular in Malaysia these days, due to the weather. It's love to eat dessert in the summer <3

Who is chocolate lover? We are ^.^ <3
This is their Belgium Chocolate Bingsu, which is Rm16.90.
If you have eaten Belgium chocolate, you might roughly know how it will taste like
And you won't regret ordering this :D Trust me, because I am trustable :P
The ice is very fine & smooth that it melted in your mouth. And they don't put condensed milk in the ice, like some of the bingsu. So, if you have a heavy taste bud, you might not find it tasty.

Brownie Coconut Sorbet, which is Rm11.90
The brownie is nutty and the coconut sober is smooth. This combination is great because the refreshing coconut sober balances the heat of the brownie. Wonderful :D
Another chocolate heaven <3

Latte, which is Rm8. We are actually expecting some beautiful art drawing, but it came out some simple circular art? Okay la, I don't blame them, since they are not selling coffee as their main. But the latte tastes pretty well :)

Passionfruit ice cream, which is Rm7.90 per scoop. It's actually no artificial flavours, colours and preservatives :D I feel so healthy after eating this <3 The ice cream is quite nice ( but my sister doesn't like it :/) and it doesn't melt easily like those normal ice cream :D Slow eater like me will definitely can take our own sweet time to enjoy this ice cream :P

One shameless selfie doesn't harm right :P

Even the memories that we have, they will fade. One day, we will forget some of the important scenes that happened in our lives.

The words "I will love you FOREVER" are always a lie. No one can love someone forever. The definition of forever is for ALL future time, for ALWAYS. But we always stop loving someone after we died. Or some even worse, they stop loving the one they used to love, after they met someone new.

Loving someone is always beautiful. It makes you happy, comfortable and it shapes you into a better man. In terms that you have to learn how to love someone in the good way, and not in the bad way.

It's our best interest to say things that we can do, and not things that we want to do. Especially promises! Sometimes, don't too overestimating yourself.

Every relationships will go through the process of growing. Just like the flower.

When we just knew each other, we are shy and introvert. We don't know each other well, and we have no much topic in common. We cared about how other people look at us, and that's why we don't show much about ourselves. We are afraid that they don't accept the real us.

Then, when we are a bit close, we slowly open our heart and accept each other. We slowly showed our bad habits out, but we embrace them. We found some commons and we started to have a longer conversation. We are friends but not very close.

By the time the flower is fully grown, we are already best friends (or couple). We have already known each other very well, and there's no secret between us. We message each other everyday and we have endless topics to talk about. Even the smallest thing will make us laugh and talk for the whole day.

We are in a stable relationship. We don't message each other every day, but we are still friends. We might meet new friend in the next stage of our lives and start the process again :)

Some relationships will last very long, but some won't. It the period that it takes for it to come to the last stage. And I believe that no matter how long the period is, it's the process that makes the relationship worth. It's the journey that we should appreciate, no matter it's a good ending or a bad one.

Erm, thought this post is a bit deep, but a deep post for once a while is healthy right? :)

Paper Town, my first book that is written by John Green.

Paper Towns is a really nice book. It teaches us a lot of things, and I love some of the lines there. The language is a bit hard for me, but it's still a very interesting book. I can't continue reading a book that uses extraordinary language because I will have to look up for dictionary every lines >.<

One of my favourite lines in the book is when Margo says "Everything is uglier up close".
And it's very sweet when Quentin replies "Except you <3"

I found that it's true though. For an example, you might think that the KLCC is just a normal building, which is very tall without any attractions. You can't see the lights that came from building when you're standing just beside it, because the range is too small. But when you stand a distance from the building, you will realise that it's actually surrounded with fascinating lights.

Same goes to a person. It looks like some people have a pretty awesome life, but how do you know that they didn't sacrifice anything to achieve what they want? Your friend, who got all HD for examinations, might have sacrifice a lot of his sleeps and fun. A travel lover, who goes oversea every year, might have worked very hard or it's actually a job vacation. A person who smile everyday, might cry at night. Everything looks easy and pretty when you stand a distance looking, instead of going closer to find out. It's the details that make things uglier. It's ugly because it's not what we expected it to be. That's human.

"Margo always loved mysteries. And everything that came afterward, I could never stop thinking that maybe she loved mysteries so much that she became one"says Q.

Who doesn't want to become the person they wanted to be. It's normal to become the one that people has expected you to be. Because you don't want people to dislike you.  But it's tired to maintain it. Who doesn't struggle between 'the real self' and 'the one you wanted to be' and 'the one people expected you to be'. "Sometimes, the way you think about a person isn't the way they actually are". And people always choose to see what they want to see.

After knowing Margo, Quentin says "She was not a miracle. She was not an adventure. She was not a fine and precious thing. She was a girl."

I consider myself to be a very lucky girl. To be born in a healthy family, with lots of love from them and friends. Sometimes when I encounter difficulties, I will try to escape or hide myself. I am not as brave as Margo. In the book, they say Margo is an attention seeking girl. But I think that she's not. She just need some love and caring. #Iamblessed

I have won myself a pair of primer screening ticket. I was super happy and excited that day. :D
A very big thank to Nuffnang and 20th Century Fox for having this giveaway!

Shared this happiness with my younger sister <3
It's a really nice movie. I actually didn't expect much for this movie after reading the book. Because I always got disappointment from the movie. That's why I always watch the movie first before I read the book. But then, it's actually almost the same as the book! And it's like you're reading the book again :D Really recommend you guys to watch this and there's some funny parts that you don't want to miss ;)

Love, Cheryl <3
