Hello beautiful souls out there!

Finally got the time to do a proper throwback to 2018.

Has been pretty busy and occupied with stuff that is pending since last year. LOL

Without further a due, let's fasten our seat belt and sit the flight back to 2018. 💓



January


Started my first full time work and here is where I changed my "toilet-mirror-ootd" to "office-lift-ootd". If you follow me long enough, you will know what's it. HAHA.

Can't believe that I have already worked for 1 full year and I am finally not a Management Trainee! Wohoo!! I shall have no complaint about my work because I consider myself as the lucky one. I don't have to bring any work to home/ work in the weekends, OT is not like until 8/9pm everyday, have super friendly and nice colleagues and boss, get to enjoy a lot of staff benefits and so on..  Most importantly, I am employed! Yeap.




February


February is one of my favourite months because one of my favourite festive lies on this month. Do you guys know what is it? That's right! It's Chinese New Year, aka the season of eating and gaining weight. LOL. Love all the CNY cookies and of course red packet. HEHE.

I have been doing this Chinese New Year Lookbook since 2016 and
I am planning to do it again this year. 😍

Another favourite month. 💓
Besides that it is my birthday month, it is also the month where I have officially graduated from Monash University! I have made a video about my convocation, feel free to check it out. :)

Yeap, The Butterfly Project and I shared the same birthday month. 😍

It was indeed the best party I have attended.

Feel really blessed and grateful to be able to meet the lovely girls and pampered by brands. It is one of the life-changing moments where I know I am actually capable in doing something, such as uploading a video every week/ trying new stuff.

 It feels great to challenge myself every week and that 2 months of Vlogstar Competition is by far the most enriched moment in 2018. Check out my Youtube Channel :)



Oh and not to forget that I have joined the general election for the first time! The election was so intense that everyone is hoping that miracle would happen. It was like a drama that I have watched online but in reality. At last, we have made it to a change and hopefully, Malaysia is a better place now.

I got nominated to represent my department for my company's annual dinner dancing competition. I had an intensive 1-month dancing practice during the working hour (yea, almost 8 hours a day).
I got to meet a lot of fresh graduates, who just joined the company, just like me and some experienced seniors from different division/field. We shared a lot of memories even though it just a short 1-2 months. Very grateful that I am still able to meet some of them, and have lunch together once in a while. Will never forget the happy moments we shared. :)

Another happy moment to share. If you didn't know yet, I am one of the Althea Angels! Aka Althea Angels Beauty Ambassador 😍, where I will be getting like tons of beauty products to try out. It was an honour to be able to be one of them and have a long term collaboration with my favourite K-beauty online beauty shop. 💓




September

Attended my favourite Japanese makeup brand event! Never thought that I will get invited to the event because I am still like a potato. HAHA. I planned to do like a makeup tutorial using only one brand, which is Canmake but am always occupied with something, which make me postponed the video for soo long! Should really get back with it after I am done with my travel post. LOL.



The whole trip was super chill and filled with good Penang food, that is recommended by the locals. Yup, 2 of them are Penang-lang, which made this trip to happen so successful. I think this is probably my first time visiting Penang because I have no memory for Penang at all. LOL.

Really enjoyed myself during the trip, even though something bad happened.

Celebrated Halloween for the first time and it is sooo fun!
Wanted to visit Stanger Things in USS but it's so expensive and I bo-lui. T.T
But Halloween in Lagoon is more than enough for me, since it's my first time. xD

Got back my car.

This might not be the best memory, but it was indeed the most impacted lesson in my life. Rmb I went to Penang in September? I got into a car accident on my way to Penang. I was so scared, but calm enough to make a phone call to my dad. It was just the beginning of the trip, but it already feels like a nightmare. I did not talk much about this incident because it is not something very nice to say.

Thankfully everyone is alright, even though there are like bruises all over our legs, but nothing major than that. It was my first car accident and hopefully the last one. Drive safe everyone. 💗




December



Celebrated early Christmas in my favourite country!! Have always wanted to visit Japan and especially Hokkaido in winter. 💗 This is definitely a dream come true and I feel so blessed to be able to make it so soon.

It is so magical to be able to see snow for the first time and nothing can describe how happy I am.
I am already missing the place and someone please bring me back there again. 💗
Definitely a great way and a great month to end my 2018.




There is up and down in life and it is extremely important to see the beauty in everything.
Even the worst moment can be the best memory for you and the greatest lesson to learn/own.

 Hi bunnies, I am finally back with another favorite post ! 

I feel so sad when I am unable to share some of my favourite stuff with you guys because 

I have too little thing to share in a post and I don't want the post to be too short.

So, here I am back with July's Favourite :D
If you have been following, you might already know what I am currently up.

Yup, a quick summary of what I have done and some of my favorite items for the past month :)

 This story is about 4 young passionate young adults, who are fighting for their way to their dream.

I kind of relate myself to them, but I am still on the stage of wandering what to do in my future. 

They are so happy when they are able to do things that they like, even though they have gone through so much and it is a hard journey for them to achieve it. But their passion won't stop and I hope that I can do the job that I love and earn a living from it. It is a very positive, with some romance and funny kind of drama. Watch it if you don't know what drama to watch 😊

Finally !! I am back with another blog :)
 I have done with my finals and I can finally sit on my chair and blog without any guilt!
So, today I am going to share about my current favorite mask.

And the award goes to....

Mamonde Sheet Mask !
It is my current love and I will tell you why. 

My previous love was Innisfree and Nature Republic sheet mask because they are very affordable and moisturizing. (FYI, I still love them <3)

Recently, I tried the Momonde Peach Blossom Shiny Hydrating, and I love it.

I normally use sheet mask during the night before I sleep and I am really surprised with the outcome after using the mask.. It has changed my dull skin to hydration glow the next day.

As you guys might know from my last post, I was having my finals and I have a lot of breakouts due to lack of sleep and stress. And today, I am going to use this Mamonde Rose Hydrating :)

I am not sure whether you can see from the packaging, there is still some leftover essence in the packet. It shows that they have given a really generous amount of essence in it to prevent the mask for drying out too fast. 

All the sheet mask are extracted from the essence of the flowers, which make them smell flowery good. I am not a big fan of too flowery scent but the scent in Mamonde mask sheet is really pleasant and not too strong. *Look how enjoy I am with my mask ^.^*

The mask sheet fits my face perfectly but my sister has a smaller face so it's pretty hard for her to find the perfect mask sheet for her face as most of the mask sheet are in standard size.

Despite the stressful life I had faced from the past few weeks, I should not neglect my skin.

This mask has helped to revived my skin and I can feel that my skin is no longer dry and dead.

*Even though the 3 pimples are quite eye catching and distracting xD*

I even feel that my pimples are not that obvious d ! Hahaha

Mask sheet is so far the best invention for skincare. It lights up our skin within a few minutes.

Like every other mask sheet, it is really easy to use. Tone your clean face before putting the mask.

Pull it out and leave it on your face for 15-20 minutes. 

Lastly, massage your face and pat it to have better absorption. 

Ps. Do not leave it overnight! 

A lot of people doesn't know that it is not good to leave the mask sheet overnight, unless it's sleeping mask. Your skin can only absorb that much and the dry mask might absorb the moisture back from your skin if you leave it too long. 

So that's all for today, I should go and sleep now :)

Counting down to 2017.

Very fast, 2016 will be history and 2017 is coming.

40+ more days later, will we still be the same?
 I am not sure but I believe that some of our favorites may change :)

What I have done in September and October?

As you can see, I have done nothing much. (All thanks to exams o.o)
 That's why I am combining both of the month's favorites in one post. 

I have said that I love the first book in my June's Favourite. Only after a few months later, in September, I finally got the chance to read the book ! Yay to Monash Library !
I have suggested Monash Uni to buy this book for me and guess what!?
I finally got to borrow this book from the library, without spending a single money :D 

So this book is to continue the first book ,To all the Boys I've loved before.

Lara Jean didn't realise that she had really fallen for Peter until they broke up. 

She went back to Peter and wrote him another letter just like she used to write letters to all the boys she had loved before. It's a story of a insecure girl toward her boyfriend. 

It's a really cute love story, that I will definitely reread again.  <3 

Betrayed is the second novel of the House of Night Fantasy series.

I am not sure whether I have put the first book (Marked) as one of my previous favorites, but this House of Night Fantasy series are definitely underrated. 

The book is easy to understand, nothing too complicated or words that are too fancy and most importantly, it is so interesting ! I couldn't know what will happen next and

 it keeps trigger me to keep reading it.

Love this song so much, super got FEEL !
You guys might not agree with me, but I found that I can feel the song when I was watching the drama, Love at Sandstorm. There is always that moment, where the music will start playing, and the scene just matched perfectly with the song.

That is why I always love OST :) 

Ha won is a high school student who dreams to be a teacher. She has a life that similar to Cinderella's. She needs money for her college, but her stepmother didn't want to afford her.

One day, she meets the Chairperson of Kang Enterprise. He offers her the chance to go to college, in return, she has to accomplish the mission of reuniting his 3 grandsons. 

This is a Taiwan drama.
After so long, I am finally sharing a Taiwan drama.

It's actually a series, presenting all 8 different stories,
telling all different kind of relationship, including family, friendship and couple.
The story is quite interesting, unlike those Taiwan drama, having the same story line again and again.
It is pretty funny and a bit 18+ (scene of sexy girl with only bikini :P)

Hey there ! So fast, it's September now, which mean that 2/3 of 2016 has passed ! :O

Like WHAT !? 2017 is coming soon ? 

Before 2017 comes, I still have 4 more months of favorite posts to share. 

Let see what were my favorites last month :)

So my current favorite bb cushion goes to this ! It's my first bb cushion and before that, I was using a normal bb cream, that will make my hands all messy. I don't usually use brush or sponge when I apply bb cream on my face because I feel that it's easier to apply them using my hand as a blending tool.

What I really like about this bb cushion is that it is very handy and can be blended easily. It works perfectly well with my Innisfree no sebum blur primer, giving me a brighter and even skin tone. The shade that I bought is shade 23, and it has medium coverage that can cover my pimple scar. I sometimes didn't put concealer because it gives me a natural coverage on my dark circles too.

So I really enjoy using this product <3 

Me Before You.

Finally finish reading the book <3 It is soo nice that I can't even stop reading it.

I finished the last few chapters, without stopping myself.
I am not sure whether I am heartless, or cold blooded, unfortunately, I didn't cry for this book.

*SPOILER ALERT*
Will is a very determined, smart and attractive guy, that even I am falling for him.
I don't know why, part of me are feeling happy for Will, because he got to decide to do the last thing that he wanted to do for his life. Of course, I am sad that he chose the not the best choice after all, but after knowing the reason behind his choice, I kind of understand him.

After the accident, he is no longer able to decide to do anything that he wants. He has to follow what people prepared for him, he has to rely on people on everything. He is no longer the Will that he himself recognize. The pain that he suffered, I don't think I can bear with it.

Overall, it is a good book.
It let me think a lot, and more grateful about I still can live the life that I want.

W 2 Worlds

I believe that a lot of people who love korean drama, surely know about this drama.

The story line is so new and it is hard for us to predict what will happen next.

I really like how Korean drama always make me feel.

So why is the drama called W? Because it stands for world. 

The main actor (Kang Chul) and actress (Yeon Joo) are from different world; Chul is from the world of comic and Joo is from the real world. Joo's father is an author of the comic, W. One day, Joo accidentally got pulled into the comic and there is when both of them met. Things started to go wrong, and both of them are trying to make things right, but they fell in love.

Will Chul sacrifice himself to leave the comic world and stay with Joo or will Joo sacrifice or both of them are not meant to be together? We will see then :)

Uncontrollably Fond

Joon Young and No Eu were couple back in high school. But due to an ill fated relationship, they separated. They met each other later on when Joon Young found out that he has brain cancer. 

Things didn't go easier even when they are back together again. It is a sad and emotional drama, that made my heart broke. There is also some scene that is very funny and sweet, mixing all kind of feeling. And that's why I love this drama :)
