Nuan Cafe @ Sungai Buloh
Good day Bunnies!
Well, I was craving for coffee for a while now and I was asking my sister if she wants to chill at a cafe. She loves doing her work in a cafe because she can't concentrate at home. So, that was definitely a good timing to visit a cafe on a Saturday noon.
Just like the name of the cafe, Nuan (暖 - warm) is meant to be a local community space that serves Sungai Buloh, complete with corners where families and friends can come together. It was such a bump that we didn't know that they didn't provide free wifi, so it might not be a great place if you want to do your work here.
The cafe was bright and vibrant. While it is new, it seems to be the go-to neighbourhood cafe in the area, as people kept coming in throughout our time there.
The cafe is complemented by two-storey-high bookshelves brimming with memoirs and mystery novels, plus a play section for children.
The small corner filled with books and toys for the little ones.
Combination of cement, wood and metal furnishings in the setting, sunlight from the windows basks the space and extra touches of greenery, which create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
Other than the Instagramable two-storey-high bookshelves and the yellow glass panel door and windows, the minimalist setting and the reasonably priced food list are bound to lure the faithful followers.
Lu Rou Fan (RM9)
Lu Rou Fan was one of the must order and delicious dish there. It was both delicious and cheap, which make a lot of people love it. The braised pork meat is well seasoned and cooked, with the flavorful gravy to it which worked well with providing the rice with the much-needed wetness. The egg is cooked almost well done, just like the Japanes soft boiled egg, instead of the watery half boiled or hard boiled egg.
Otak-Otak Egg Don (RM16.00)
Blanketed with omelet, the rice was layered with Otak-Otak (spiced ground fish meat) and generously drizzled with sweet savoury sauce. Portion was big and it offered a home-cooked comfort food taste one can ask for. Love this dish so much even tho the otak otak is quite spicy but it tastes so good!
Yaki Japanese Curry (RM18)
The Japanese curry is pretty good and it is really hard to say no to cheese. But it is a little salty to my liking and the portion is rather huge. Curry is not spicy as expected but super flavourful. If you love Japanese curry and pretty salty over sweet, this might be your choice.
Matcha Rose Latte (RM13)
Black Ice (RM8)
Americano (RM7)
Coffee is good, with a little acidic taste.
Matcha is great too, not too sweet, but would definitely prefer it to be a little thicker.
BTW, love the art work tho.
Verdict: Lovely environment, good food, warm service and affordable price range are what you can expect to find here. Braised pork rice (Lu Rou Fan) and their special drinks (Piccolo Gula Melaka) is another must try here, I certainly wouldn’t say no to make a return to try it out!
Thanks for reading.

ReplyDeleteI always enjoy discovering cozy cafes that are not only about food but also about creating a comfortable atmosphere for the community. Nuan Cafe sounds like a lovely place to relax, with its bookshelves, family-friendly corners, and warm interior design. The Lu Rou Fan and Otak-Otak Egg Don both sound delicious, especially when a cafe manages to offer good taste at reasonable prices. I recently came across win airlines while exploring different online spaces, and it was interesting to see how various platforms are building their own communities. Places like Nuan Cafe are a great reminder that small local spots can create memorable experiences.
ReplyDeleteA relaxing coffee break can be the perfect way to slow down and enjoy a simple moment together. Visiting a cozy café with family not only creates a pleasant atmosphere but can also inspire creativity and help with focus, especially for those who work better in a different environment. A good cup of coffee and a comfortable place can turn an ordinary Saturday into a memorable experience. More interesting content and ideas can be found at https://rt-bet.eu/hu/.
ReplyDeleteNuan Cafe sounds like one of those neighbourhood spots you discover almost by accident and then understand why people keep coming back. The warm, book-filled interior and little children’s corner give it a much more relaxed personality than a typical Instagram cafe. And that RM9 Lu Rou Fan sounds like a serious bargain—comforting, flavourful and filling without making the wallet cry. The lack of Wi-Fi might be a drawback for working, but for an unhurried coffee and lunch with family, it almost feels like a feature. After reading about food spots like this, I can easily see why a little browsing on https://bullibet-italy.net/ would continue the casual scroll.
