In this post, I am going to share this Food Skin Love Box that I got from Althea with you guys.
It is actually a Althea beauty box, where Althea always release 2-3 this kind of box every month based on specific themes. They have already released boxes, such as Chok Chok Box (moisturizing box), Trouble Breaker Box (acne prone box), Mermaid Box and others. Getting a beauty box is definitely a lot cheaper than getting all the items individually, because besides getting 6-12 full size of beauty products, you can also save up to 76% of your money.

However, the con is that this kind of box is always out of stock. Can you imagine how well this kind of beauty boxes are selling ? It is like an extra deal for all the shopper, even though all the products in Althea are already so cheap and affordable. So, it is extremely important to get the box fast when you see it selling in Althea, as it can be gone by any minutes. :)

Like what the name of the box says, which is Food Skin Love Box, it is a box that your skin will love because all of their main ingredients are came from food, such as tomatoes, broccoli, candy and even coffee! In this box, it consists of 7 full sized of products which are:

As you guys can see, most of their products in the box are skincare and that is really what I need now.
I always work until really late and my skin condition is at its worst now so I seriously need some good skincare products to save and brighten up my skin.

1. The Face Shop - Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam

The first thing I am going to introduce is this Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam.
It is infused with rice water and Moringa flower oil, which can moisturize, detoxify and even brighten up your skin. Due to its lush creamy texture, this cleansing foam actually helps to keep the skin hydrated by minimizing the moisture lost from cleansing.




Direction: Squeeze out an appropriate amount of the cleanser and lather up until it is foamy. Massage it gently onto your face and rinse it off after that.

My thoughts

After removing my makeup, I always double cleanse my face. This Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam lathers very well, as a little amount is more than enough for your whole face. It has really does its job in cleansing my face, leaving my face soft and smooth. Furthermore, it does not dry off my skin, and there is no other breakout on my face after using it, which is great.

However, there is no instant result, as I can't really notice my face is any brighter after use. Maybe I have to use it for a longer time to see the result. Other than that, I feel that it is a pretty decent cleanser. :)

2. Monstory - Girly Mon Brightening Care Fresh Mask

My thoughts

This mask glides and spreads on my face very smoothly. Like I have mentioned above, it have small rice grains, which is very mild, for me to exfoliate my skin. The bits are really small and they are not harsh at all when I am rubbing it on my face.

It is very moisture, and my face feel very bouncy after using it. The effect is like an instant. I can notice that my face is more hydrated and even brighter after using it. I use it 2-3 times a week, but if you have sensitive skin, you might want to use it 1-2 times a week because when I first used it, I can feel some tingling sensation on my upper lip area, but it is a minor one, so I just leave it there.

 Fortunately there's no extra breakouts on the next day and I am loving the result. This mask is actually make out of natural ingredient, therefore, its recommended life span is only 90 days, which is pretty short. To make its life span a bit longer, it is recommended to store in the fridge, so that it won't go wrong.

3. Skinfood - Premium Tomato Whitening Toner 

I have heard a lot of people saying about this toner and I finally have the chance to try it :D
It is a whitening toner that contains 10% sustainable tomato extract and vitamin C to promote pure, bright and whitening effect. It can help in making your face more radiant and glowing.

My thoughts

My face feel very soft and hydrated after use. It has a very fast absorption and I really love it.
It is light-weighted and refreshing, as it doesn't leave any sticky feeling on my skin. It is very gentle, because when I apply it on my pimple, I did not feel any tingling sensation.

Does it really whiten my skin ? I am not too sure though. Maybe it does, but not too effective because it did not brighten my skin immediately, but probably gradually.

4. Hiddencos - Americano Mask & Latte Mask

I personally love coffee and it smell exactly like Americano, which amazed me.
When I was applying it, I really have the urge to taste it (And it taste bitter LOL). I thought that it will be different scent, like the tomato toner, but the coffee scent is so strong that I thought it's actually edible.

Directions: Cleanse your face and apply the mask evenly across the face. Remove the mask after 20-30 minutes and lightly tap the remaining contents on your face to completely absorb it.

My thoughts

There is a generous amount of essence in the mask, where you can see in photo, as the essences were dripping when I pulled it out from the package.

The mask sheet is super thin and it fits my face perfectly well. Can you really tell if I have put the mask in the above picture ? That's how thin it is, and I do not have to worry that it will fall when I am moving around. My face feels really moisture after using it and I kind of love it even though it makes me crave for coffee in the middle of night. 😂

5. Innisfree - Broccoli Clearing Lotion 

This Innisfree Broccoli Clearning Lotion is rich in vitamins, minerals, which can moisturize and soothe your skin. It also contains BHA, which is effective on removing blackhead and control the sebum production. It takes care for your skin and strengthen its barrier against harmful externalities, leaving you a supple, clear complexion.




The texture of this lotion is a bit thick and the mouth of this lotion is a bit huge to control the amount of product to come out. Due to the thick texture, I have to shake it out and sometimes, I will tend of over pour and it is really annoying.  It smells like orange instead of broccoli and I love it because the scent is not very strong.

Directions: Use an appropriate amount of the lotion and spread it evenly over your face after cleansing and toning. Pat gently with fingertips for better absorption.

My thoughts

I feel that it is very suitable for those who have combination or oily skin because the lotion absorb really fast in my skin. It is very gentle, yet hydrating enough for my skin.
I am loving it because it is not making my skin breakout and I have really oily T-zone area.
I am not sure whether it does remove my blackhead, but so far so good :)

6. Wonde Ruci - Light Light Eye Balm

This is my first time came across to this brand, which is called Wonde Ruci. It is actually a profesional brand formulated to bring up face's brightness to keep clean and health skin

Unlike eye cream, which can be very oily, this is an eye balm. It claims to be able to reduce fine lines, dryness and dark circles. It can be used under makeup, as well as above makeup to prevent any crease and fine lines.




Directions: Use clean finger to take a small portion of the balm out and apply it around your eyes

My thoughts

This is my first eye cream and I feel that it does lighten my dark circle a little but it might due to the color of the cream. Even though it is a light eye balm, I feel that it is moisture enough to hydrate my under eyes area.

I feel that my under eyes makeup do not crease that easily, even when I do not apply any primer.
Some people say that it does work on dark circle, but I feel that it is not very effective. But it may due to my late sleep.

So, that's all for the skincare part and I actually got a lip tint in the box.

7. The Saem - Saemmul Water Candy Tint 

My thoughts

It smears into my lips weightlessly and I really love its light texture. Despite that it is light weighted, it is not drying at all. I can't feel anything on my lips and the color is super vibrant and long lasting.
The photo shown in right bottom is actually the residue of the tint after rubbing vigorously under the water.

I have too little thing to share in a post and I don't want the post to be too short.

So, here I am back with July's Favourite :D
If you have been following, you might already know what I am currently up.

Yup, a quick summary of what I have done and some of my favorite items for the past month :)

 This story is about 4 young passionate young adults, who are fighting for their way to their dream.

I kind of relate myself to them, but I am still on the stage of wandering what to do in my future. 

They are so happy when they are able to do things that they like, even though they have gone through so much and it is a hard journey for them to achieve it. But their passion won't stop and I hope that I can do the job that I love and earn a living from it. It is a very positive, with some romance and funny kind of drama. Watch it if you don't know what drama to watch 😊
